These are just a few of the
friendly faces you’ll see at Good Shepherd! We
would love for you to join us for Sunday worship
at 9:00 a.m.!
We believe God calls us to reach out and welcome
all people and we do mean ALL! God values
everyone and we regard each other and those who
join us with those high standards. Holy
Communion is offered every Sunday morning and
all are welcome to join the celebration
regardless of age, background, race, or any
other human manner of division as a sign of
God’s radical inclusiveness.
We are a community that strives to BE the
church, rooted in God’s mission and vision for
the world. We see God’s vision for the world
most clearly in the person of Jesus so our
mission statement is “LIVING AND SHARING JESUS!”
We are continually striving to learn what that
means!
Worship at Good Shepherd is the work of all the
people (“liturgical”) and is the center of our
life together. People of all ages are involved
in leading the service and all people
participate through standing and sitting,
singing and speaking, eating and drinking. We
are a diverse congregation in terms of age,
background and belief but we believe we are
called to live together as a community. It is
the world’s way to cater to and divide people by
tastes and preferences, but it is not the way of
Jesus. Consequently, you won’t see us divided
into “contemporary” or “traditional” for
example. We worship together each Sunday with a
style that reflects the diversity of our
congregation and, at the same time, is rooted in
our heritage.
The fruits of the Spirit are alive at Good
Shepherd: love, kindness, generosity, just to
name a few. Laughter abounds as well! Come join
us in our mission: “LIVING AND SHARING JESUS!”
