WHO: People eager to own their own homes and Lutherans eager to build them!

WHAT: Construction of local “Lutheran” Habitat homes.

WHEN: Every summer since 2000.

WHERE: Northwest Rockford, Midtown Rockford and Belvidere.

WHY: Area Lutherans share a strong commitment to local Habitat efforts.

 

BY THE NUMBERS:

• By the end of 2006, 10 “Lutheran” Habitat homes will have been built in Rockford and Belvidere since 2000.
• Hundreds of area Lutherans have been integrally involved in building these homes.
• To date, area Lutherans have contributed well over $150,000 to our local Habitat chapter since 2000 - from Lutheran Ministries’ organized community fundraisers and grants, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, our partner churches, and individuals.
